From 4th of November 2013 onwards web stores can start using Itella's Posti Maksuturva service, which automates web stores' processes regarding payments, logistics and order returns. The new solution is based on the intelligent payment service platform launched in 2008 by Suomen Maksuturva Oy, which is already utilized by hundreds of web stores in Finland.
With the help of Posti Maksuturva a web store can offer certified, reliable 24/7 customer service regarding payments, deliveries and possible order returns. The customers of the web store get an easy way to purchase products or services, give feedback for the web store and, if needed, return products. At the same time Posti Maksuturva reduces the manual work related to these steps, and makes it possible for the web store to save up to thousands of euros per month.
Comprehensive logistics and payments service
The service provides web stores with

-flexible settlement and reporting models.
For consumers the services means an easy channel for tracking deliveries, contacting the web store, returning products and printing the return address card. Both paying the order and money refunds are handled securely and easily.
Based on the new web store legislation
The service is based on the new requirements of the new web store law that takes effect in June 2014. The new law and the EU directive behind it require web stores to unify their actions related to deliveries and returns management. Posti Maksuturva includes the required electronic returns form and it also processes money refunds automatically. The customer is refunded as soon as the web store confirms the returned product as arrived.
